"Pair Of Sèvres Plates: Napoleon And Marie-louise"
Pair of Sèvres porcelain plates representing Emperor Napoleon 1st and his 2nd wife Empress Marie-Louise. They are scalloped; the wing is entirely decorated in gold with swans, N included in a cartouche and garlands on a blue background. In the center of each plate are represented the Emperor and the Empress in bust; the 2 portraits are signed Galy and outlined in gold. On the reverse, mark of the Imperial Manufacture of Sèvres.
