Empire period miniature in oval shape painted with gouache on ivory. Is represented a young girl in bust and three-quarters against a background of cloudy landscape; his features are fine and his handsome face displays a shy smile; her black eyes are highlighted by her fair complexion and her brown hair is up in a curly bun. She wears a white lace dress embellished with a wide golden belt emphasizing her wasp waist. The miniature is encircled with very finely chiseled gilt brass; the whole is in a wooden frame decorated at the 4 corners with decorative motifs typically Empire: palmettes, laurel...
