Extremely rare series of large forks and large spoons in gilded solid silver in the Art Deco style with the cipher of the King of the Belgians Albert I (1875-1934) and his wife Queen Elisabeth (1876-1965). This immensely popular royal couple after the First World War had as children King Leopold III, Prince-Regent Charles and Queen Marie-Josée of Italy. They are the grandparents of King Baudouin and his brother King Albert II and the great-grandparents of the current King Philippe I and his cousin Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg. The cutlery comes from the workshops of the Delheid brothers in Brussels and belongs to the "Numéro 39" cutlery range launched by the silversmith in the late ´20s. They weigh more or less 1830 grams.
