"19th Century French Commode, Louis XV Period, Rococo Style"
This commode is made of wood (probably mahogany) and has a white marble top. It has six drawers and two lockable cabinets. The chest of drawers is richly decorated with carvings and marquetry. Popular decorative motifs include rocaille, shells, acanthus leaves, flowers and birds. The legs of the chest of drawers are curved and have delicate feet. The hardware and handles are made of brass.
