Gillet (François-Pierre or Henri), French jurisconsult, born in Lyon in 1648, died in Paris in 1720, was the son of a prosecutor in the parliament of Paris. François-Pierre exercised his profession as a lawyer with great success in Paris. He also wrote a Discourse on the genius of the French language. Beautiful condition.
