Small incense burner in fine Satsuma earthenware. Decoration in colored enamels on typical cracked glassure, details in gold and silver. The atypical shape is interesting and rare with this oversized lid. Work of satsuma kilns from the Meiji period around 1900 by an anonymous artist. Height 65mm. Good condition, normal wear for a century-old ceramic.
