Unique edition of only 195 copies of this ''luxury edition''. This one is one of the 153 numbered editions on Arches vellum. It contains 12 (out of 12) original lithographs (including double-pages) printed on the presses of Fernand Mourlot; each countersigned in pencil by Camille Hilaire. Who also covered the colophon with his autograph signature. ''Camille Hilaire worked at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and in free Academies, notably that of André Lhote, who had a decisive influence on him. He won numerous prizes and awards. In his very abundant work, with declared decorative intentions, based on a neo-cubist construction and an extensive color range and acid tones, we particularly quote from this painter native of Metz the themes of Orchestras, Horse races and Greenhouses.
