It is chambered from the front of the cylinder with special metal cartridges of caliber 30 CUP-PRIMED. The empty case extractor is visible to the right of the carcass. It is a rod sliding in a slide and operated by a ball-shaped lever. This rod enters the chamber from behind and ejects the empty case from the front. This single-action weapon was manufactured in the 1860s in only 20,000 copies, this one bearing the No. 4944.
