Lausanne, se, 1776; in-8, XVI-148 + 207 pp., contemporary full marbled calfskin binding, decorated smooth spine, title label missing, marbled edges. 2 volumes bound in 1. Grandjacquet was a recognized preacher from Besançon. During the French Revolution he refused to take the oath which led to his deportation and he died on the road from Rochefort to Angoulème. This text is the only text by Grandjacquet to have been published. He left numerous writings which have never been published, including a treatise on magic, evil spells, magicians, real or supposed sorcerers.
