"Louis XV Desk"

Large flat Louis XV desk with espagnolette, marquetry and very beautiful ornamentation of gilded bronzes. This double-sided desk is a model by the famous XVIII cabinetmaker Charles Cressent. The top, surrounded by a bronze mold, is sheathed in Havana leather decorated with a wheel.
This piece of furniture has three belt drawers. Late 19th or early 20th century work.
