*Thomas Cartier was a sculptor and founder born February 21, 1879 and died April 26, 1936.
Trained by an animal specialist, George Gardet, he has an admiration for hunting dogs, terriers, wolves, but also sculpts big cats, fighting deer and birds of prey. He worked at La Ruche and exhibited at the beginning of the 20th century at the Salon des artistes français as well as at the Salon d'Automne. (Excerpt from Les Bronzes du XIXème siècle by P.
