Pair of Tabriz carpets in hand-knotted wool, originating from Iran, Dozar format, approximately (100 x 200) dimensions of these carpets, 140 cm by 192 cm long each.
This pair of carpets is in very good and clean condition and it is indeed rare to find a pair circa 1950 in such good condition.
The fresh colors present are red, sky blue, black, straw yellow, almond green, and the wool remains very shiny and soft.
The pile and the edges are in very good condition, the fringes clean and short.
