Superb series of 6 dining room chairs from the Charles X Restoration period in mahogany and leather. They rest on Jacob-style front legs and saber rear legs for great stability. The backrest is made up of a wide curved band underlined by moldings. The seat is in black leather, the upholstery was certainly redone in the 1960s, but the seat is firm and comfortable. This is a rare set in very good house condition. Some usual restorations. Period around 1830.
