Case With Scissors And Necessary & Silver And Steel & Circa 1600 & Haute Epoque France
Remarkable scissors case and necessary in silver and steel, Datable between the end of the XVIth and the beginning of the XVIIth century, around 1600. A similar model is present in the collections of the Renaissance museum in Ecouen (see photographs). Unfortunately this case has lost its email which was applied to the entire surface. It is extremely rare that the three elements of this type of kit are still together 400 years after their manufacture.
