"Phurbu, Ritual Dagger, Tibet"
Wrathful deity heads on three faces surmounted by three horse heads, Hayagriva, embodiment of the bodhisattva mahâsattva Avalokiteśvara of great compassion in Tantric Buddhism. In its middle the dorje for gripping and at its end the makara holds in its mouth the three-sided blade. Early 20th century, acquired in Nepal in the 80s.
