An exceptionally fine magical double sided chalcedony intaglio of a Chnoubis.
Romano-Egyptian, 2nd-3rd century AD.
Set in a Georgian gold pendant mount.
The intaglio alone measures 2.2 x 1.8cm, the ancient gem is of convex form and measures 0.8cm deep.
