"Empire Style Work Cabinet Return From Egypt Faubourg Work"
Empire style mahogany and gilt bronze desk set including a flat desk, a bookcase with 3 mesh doors, a caned desk chair covered with a tapestry cushion. All decorated with caryatids returning from Egypt, very beautiful carving and gilding on the bronzes, probably Faubourg work. note that a pair of feet is missing on the bookcase (but we will change them) and there is a slot on the desk top. dimensions of the desk height 76 cm for a size of 129 cm by 75 cm. dimensions of the armchair: height 85 cm for a width of 60 cm and a depth of 52 cm dimensions of the bookcase: height 190 cm for a width of 191 cm and a depth of 48 cm.
