"Three Pharmacy Pots, 19th Century Apothecary, Limoges Porcelain, A Collin Paris, Lot 2"
Three medicine jars. Each jar bears the round red stamp below: “Porcelaines & Cristaux, A. Collin, 90 Rue de Rivoli à Paris”. Created in 1761, the A.collin stores were bought by Tissier at the end of the 19th century (see attached photo). These pharmacy jars date from before this recovery. They are approximately 9,45 inches tall and 4,25 inches in diameter. They are in good condition, the gilding is however erased in places (visible in the photos). Three other pots of the same series are available in my other sales. France, Limoges and Paris, first part of 19 Th Century.
