Edvard Munch, Los Angeles Exhibition Poster

Very nice poster of the exhibition of etchings, lithographs and woodcuts by Edvard Munch, at the Los Angles County Museum of Art. Exhibition which took place from January 28 to March 9, 1969. This one represents "The Rouuse Woman with Green Eyes", from 1902. "It is the synthesis of the Munchian vision of women: attractive witch with red hair and green, free woman with bare breasts, she has at the same time an air of innocence, of aloof reserve quite ambiguous". Poster printed by Mourlot, one of the greatest publishers in Paris and one of the great artists of the post-war period.
