Vintage Lighting Italian Design Lamp 1960 / 1970 (massimo & Lella Vignelli) XX ème

Majestic Table Lamp Model 526-G ​​​​by Lella & Massimo Vignelli, Italy, 1965

This elegant model 526-G ​​lamp was designed in 1965 by the famous designer couple Lella and Massimo Vignelli. They are among the rare creators published by ITALIA-ARTELUCE between 1960 and 1969, alongside Gino Sarfatti, founder of the company.
This model is an original edition, large format, and a true testimony to Italian design from the 60s.

Description: It is organized and composed of 3 curved white plexiglass diffusers accommodating three light sources (working independently of each other) and fixed on a beautiful chrome-plated brass structure with a concave triangular shape.

The lamp still retains its original label with the "Arteluce Milano" brand under the foot and its "Ticino" switch.

Very good general condition without defects, but with a tiny crack of 1 cm on the back of a white Plexiglas diffuser, imperceptible from a distance and in no way altering the solidity (see photos). Only a major cleaning of the chrome (using very fine “000” steel wool) is necessary, dirty but not pitted (brass base).
  
Due to its size, it can also be used as a floor lamp, placed or not on a small stage for example.

Perfect for a living room, an entrance, or a commercial space, it will add and give a vintage touch to any development of refined interior decoration.
