"Pair Of Blue Bresse Enamel Jardiniere"
A pair of planters in sky blue Bresse enamel and cobalt blue interior, adorned with polychrome medallions with floral decoration encircled with imitation white enamelled pearls and arabesques with gold fillets. The same decoration of arabesques enhanced with white and red enamel adorns the perimeter of the planters. Each piece has two small side handles richly decorated with painted gadroons welcoming enamelled flowers and gold seedlings. Base in gilded bronze composed of four foliated feet. Late 19th century.
