This diptych "The seven deadly sins" 1984, is part of the 1st era of the painter Rocan Sans
. In 1984, the artist produced these mural projects for the house of Baron Von Blücher in Dusseldörf.
There are many preparatory drawings of every detail of the composition of this work.
We present here in a diptych format, the preparatory work composed of two independent paintings.

These scenes, full of life, with Mediterranean notes, describe a festive atmosphere animated by many characters and where the seven deadly sins can be found. Abundant food, birds, the sea, summer underline this festive moment which constitutes the very essence of this work.

This oil on linen canvas is in good condition. Without frame.

Dimensions H 60 / W 73 cm for each painting. Signed lower left for one, lower right for the other.
