"Louis XVI Pillot Flat Back Armchair"
Armchair with a flat square-shaped backrest, resting on 4 fluted spindle legs, work from the South of France attributed to Pillot, not being able to "garnish" the belt in full, it is "complicated" to certify it, but everything suggests that this elegant seat is typical of the productions of this famous Nîmes cabinetmaker from the end of the 18th century, by the sculpture this seat is presented in "the state" in its old lacquer, with wear and losses, Pierre Nicolas Pillot 1748 1822
