"Bronze Voltaire 19th"
19th bronze bust with brown patina depicting Voltaire. He is represented from the front, with long curly hair and a mischievous grimacing smile. We notice the meticulous work carried out by the artist as much in the features and the expression of the face as in the hair and the costume with the finely sculpted jabot. At the bottom of the sculpture, presence of the inscription VOLTAIRE and on the back are engraved the initials of the artist HL as well as the date of creation: 1853. The bust is on a molded and patinated wooden pedestal. good condition H total: 18cm pedestal: 10 X 7cm H bronze: 12cm 6 X 6cm
