Fracture of the neck of the femur.
Case: Extra-capsular fracture of the femoral neck.
Patient: Mrs Haussard, 85 years old, fell on September 27, 1835. She complained of intense pain. On October 1 she died without plausible explanation. At the autopsy, it was discovered that there was considerable hemorrhage which had its source in the fractured bones.

Condition: satisfactory condition in spite of some visible halos. THE PHOTOS ARE USED AS DESCRIPTION.
