Senior staff officer's sword, period: Empire - Restoration, 19th century. Vertically grooved mother-of-pearl rocket. Golden brass frame. Oval pommel chiselled with floral motifs and a figurine representing 1 OWL. see photo. Joining arc chiseled with foliage with central rosette medallion with 2 ornate quillons coming out of two lion heads and ending in a rosette. Symmetrical keyboard covered with a cobweb embellished with stylized leaves and pearls, without counter keyboard. Triangular blade with its tie and remaining floral engravings and marking on the heel of the Solingen manufacturer: "SHJ".
