Rare color engraving of 1839. 1st edition of "Anatomia Patologica del corpo Umano" by Dr. Jean Cruveilhier under the guidance of Dr. Pietro Banchelli.
Draughtsman: Ottone Muzzi.
Engraver: Vincenzo Battelli.

Disease of the arteries.
Case: gangrene.
Patient: Potet, 58 years old, was brought to the Pitié Salpêtrière hospital for cancer of the uterus. On December 3, she started complaining of a severe pain in her right foot. The gangrene spread rapidly. On December 27 the thigh was cold. Died the following night.

Condition: satisfactory condition in spite of some visible halos especially in the light. THE PHOTOS ARE USED AS DESCRIPTION.
