"Small Showcase In Mahogany Burl Veneer, Restoration Period - Mid-19th Century"
Rare Small Display Cabinet, Burl Mahogany Veneer, Restoration Period. It opens on the front with a large Framed and Glass Door. The latter is locked since provided with a brass lock in working order, accompanied by its carved head key. The interior is lined with four oak shelves with mahogany edges, 22 cm deep. They are placed on racks and therefore adjustable as desired over a total height of 135 cm. The upper part of this Showcase has been designed set back, thus highlighting its Molded Cornice. The whole rests on a large Plinth, itself fixed on two flared legs at the front and two straight legs at the back. The back of the Cabinet is in Oak. On the top of the Cabinet, we will notice the presence of a small Iron Fixing Ring. Indeed, in view of the large size of the Door, and the Narrowness of this Showcase - which nevertheless constitute indisputable Assets - it is strongly recommended to Secure the installation by a point of attachment to the wall. The Moderate and Unusual dimensions of this Showcase are worth remembering. In addition to its great accommodation, this Presentation and / or Storage Cabinet offers attractive Wood Designs, which we owe to a Quality Burl Mahogany veneer. ******** Period: Mid-19th century Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop.
