Pair Of Louis XIV Period Candlesticks Plated, Lambrequins, Well Worn!

Beautiful pair of late 17th century candlesticks, octagonal base with degrees taken up of engraving, cast bronze rods in two parts and chiseled, also engraved, fixed by a beautiful old screw thread.
These candlesticks were mercury silver leaf , of which about 75% remains, because the surface, probably too often polished by zealous domesticity, shows quite a bit of wear.
Qualities: early period and low price, candlesticks not pierced by the electric fairy, rare in pairs, and great elegance!
Flaws: a split binet, wear and lack of sockets.
