Old glass goblet created by René Lalique in 1932. Decor of ferns and titled Doctor Pierre. The height is 10.6 cm (4.2 ") and the diameter is 6.6 cm (2.5") Very good state of conservation; Dr Pierre Mussot (1801 - 1860) was the creator of the first industrial soaps and toothpastes. Mussot created his company in 1832 and quickly made a fortune. His company was sold in 1923 to "Parfums Forvil" which was then a leading client of René Lalique. In 1932, Forvil commissioned René Lalique to design a water tumbler to mark the brand's 100th anniversary. The cup was never sold but was given away to customers and business partners to celebrate Forvil's roots.
