"Louis XVI Mahogany Chiffonier."
This chest of drawers opens on the front with five stacked drawers. The first four drawers are identical and the last, although simulating two fronts, is actually a single large drawer. They are framed by a rod embellished with a brass molding. The uprights of rounded facades are hollowed out with grooves lined with a brass groove. It rests on four turned legs. It is topped with white marble surrounded by an openwork brass gallery. This rather rare piece of furniture is in perfect condition and the drawers slide perfectly. Period late 18th century. W/D/H: 48 X 28 X 116 cm. Interior dimensions of the drawers: W/D/H of the 4 small drawers: 37 X 17.5 X 12 cm. W/D/H of the large drawer: 37 X 17.5 X 26.5 cm.
