"Pair Of Napoleon III Candlesticks, Sterling Silver, Austria-hungary 1870-1880"
Sumptuous pair of Napoleon III style candlesticks in solid silver. They are hallmarked with the guarantee hallmark of the Austro-Hungarian Empire "Dianakopfpunze " and with the hallmark of an unidentified master silversmith "AB". A guilloche engraving covers most of the surface of the foot and the shaft. On each foot is an empty cartouche that can possibly accommodate the interlaced initials or the coat of arms of the owner. They are 32 cm high and weigh 550 grams per pair.
