"Léon Herbo : Elegant At La Tourterelle"

This painting is characteristic of romanticism at the end of the 19th century in France and Belgium. Leon Herbo 1850-1907, was a Belgian artist. A student at the academy of fine arts in Tournai and Brussels, he specialized in portraits of ladies of the nobility as well as oriental women. We owe him many paintings by theater artists.
