Born around 1880 in Lausanne, Adolf or Adolphe BACHMANN is a painter of urban landscapes, seascapes, listed among the Orientalists. In 1909 in Paris, he appeared as an orientalist painter at the Salon des Indépendants. His works can be confused with those of the German painter Alfred Auguste Bachmann. His Parisian subjects are quite rare. He offers us here a beautiful animated and colorful landscape of the Saint-Cloud park, with Paris in the background.
