Terracotta, bronze patina, bronze style, about a young slave. Sculpture made by Édouard Fortini, born in Italy in 1862, and published around 1914, pa Fontaine and Durieux, in L'isle-Adan. This model is reproduced on the cover of the book "Orientalist and Africanist Terracottas" by Stéphane Richemond, as well as on page 138 of this book. Note that this work is the only model, executed by Fortini, which has been published at Isle-Adan.
