"Eugène Galien-laloue, Tuileries Garden, Gouache On Cardboard"
Gouache on Cardboard by Eugène Galien-Laloue, representing the Tuileries Garden. This is the only representation known to date of this Parisian site by the artist. The work is presented in a perfect state of conservation, and is referenced in the archives of the expert Noe WILLER. It will be included in the second volume of the painter's catalog raisonné. The light and atmosphere emanating from this work are remarkable and characteristic of the production of views of Paris by this master of the XIXth and XXth centuries. It is enhanced by a beautiful Montparnasse setting. Dimensions: 48 X 36 cm framed, 31 X 19 cm for the gouache alone.
