The finesse and quality of the carvings show the dexterity of the engraver of this 19th century piece.
Hammam bucket from the 19th century, Kadjar dynasty, in tinned copper and engraved with a very great delicacy of six rosettes enclosing all different hunting scenes: horsemen and lion attacking a deer.
The whole is composed of bands in friezes of flowers and epigraphic decorations between the rosettes.
The bronze handle assumes a Dominic form when raised.
The work is of very good quality, form, finesse of the engraving and undoubtedly belonged to a person of high rank.
A small mark on the underside, like a workshop stamp in the shape of what appears to be a bird. In very good collectible condition, from the 19th century, Persia, (Iran) from the Kadjar period.
