From the estate of Mr D. whose great uncle Mr Le B. who was stationed in Indochina between 1930 and 1950, these works were purchased directly from the painter in Saigon.
I offer you here 2 paintings on silk entitled "Spontaneity" and "images of the wind" from a series of 5 paintings originally, these paintings represent bamboos superbly treated with a nuanced background of white-blue.
On the back were glued the business cards of the painter who had his studio at 146 rue Meyer in Saigon.
I don't need to explain to you the rarity on the market of two unpublished works from the golden age of Vietnamese painting, coming from an estate, we prefer to offer them to you directly rather than through the sales channel at auction.
