Original ink and watercolor gouache on paper, 48 cm x 30 cm, sold with its frame under glass 54 cm x 36 cm, unsigned but beautifully crafted, dating around 1860 (label on the back) and representing a study of a locomotive. Note a fine tear in the paper and a few small traces of foxing.
Painting remaining in good state of conservation.
