View of rue Damiette in Rouen Guy Marc (1918-1995) was born in Poitiers, he studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Orléans and was a comic book illustrator after the war. Then, he devoted himself to painting, essentially representing Normandy and in particular the old streets of Rouen animated by characters.
