Carl Prévot is a Belgian painter born in 1933 in Charleroi.
He is a painter and watercolourist. As an autodidact, he received advice from Jean Ransy.
At first he relied on surrealism, like his teacher, but gradually developed into a refined painter of flowers, still lifes and landscapes, often painted with miniaturistic zeal.
