Beautiful work, luminous, by the painter Serge BELLONI, nicknamed the "painter of Paris" which represents a view of the quays of seine in Paris in autumn. The artist was able to perfectly transcribe the different nuances of an autumn day in Paris.
We can distinguish in the foreground, the quays of the Seine animated by silhouettes and the barges moored on the Seine and in the background an unobstructed view of Paris.

We can compare our work to those presented during the collective exhibition at the Galerie des Orfèvres and the Musée Galliera in 1973.

Nicknamed "the painter of Paris", Serge Belloni arrived in Paris in 1933 and lived at the Faubourg Saint Antoine. His father, Luigi Belloni, is an upholsterer and decorator. Serge Belloni joined the National School of Fine Arts and organized his first exhibition in Paris in 1946, at the age of 26. During this period, the artist befriended Lucien Moretti and Gérard Blondel.

Serge Belloni endeavors to transcribe with talent the authentic Paris, braving all the seasons to paint on the ground.
Serge Belloni lives solely from his painting and participates throughout his life in numerous exhibitions in France and abroad.
He was notably awarded the First Prize for Painting at Versailles (1949), the Marie Bashkirtseff Prize (1952), the silver medal of the City of Paris and the vermeil medal of the City of Paris (1980).

His works are kept in many private and public collections around the world.
