"Chanteuges (upper Loire) By Ga Borias 1908-1988"
Born in Cébazat (Puy de Dôme) this artist studied at the Beaux Arts in Saint-Etienne and then at the Decorative Arts in Paris. Having become a drawing teacher, he attended various colleges and arrived in 1941 in Uzès where he engaged in the rehabilitation of the Museum which currently bears his name. His artistic activity combines poetry, painting, watercolor and engraving. Exhibited in 1947 and 1949 at the Beaux Arts in Nîmes. A posthumous retrospective in 1988 at the Musée d'Uzès. Signed lower right and dated 1934 Dimensions of the frame 41.5 x 32 cm
