Rare advertising vase for the Chocolat du Chat noir confectioner in Paris. Slip vase decorated with a black cat rubbing itself along a column. Period late 19th early 20th. Certainly Sarreguemines or Choisy. Marked under the base: Chocolaterie du Chat Noir 32 rue Saint Denis. In good general condition, no breakage. Enamel wear on the cat's neck and forehead, see photos.
