Very beautiful coffee table with enamelled Volvic lava top, signed by the Atelier M. & F. LIENHARD in Usson in Auvergne.
This workshop was created in 1969 by Marie and François Lienhard, two former students of the Beaux-Arts and disciples of the artist Jean Jaffeux, himself a friend of Jean Lurçat.
It is a unique piece from the 1970's, in shades of brown, white and black, very decorative and resolutely modern despite its age.
