"Saint-pierre Marble-xvie-021022"
We present this statue of St-Pierre in polychrome marble. The marble used for the realization of this statue is an "Arabescato" marble. We date this St-Pierre from the 16th century. The polychromy is in very good condition, the rendering of the sculpture is very fine and very elegant, on the back of our statue you can clearly see the traces of scissors. Our Saint-Pierre leans forward because we think it was intended to be placed high up.
