"Portrait Of Rabin 19th Judaica"
Magnificent oil on panel from the first half of the 19th century. The painting was probably hidden under a layer of paint during the Second World War. On the right of the painting there is a letter halef which is probably the beginning of a signature. The provenance is a Jewish adviser to Tsar Nicolas II who left for the revolution in 1918. The quality of certain details is worthy of a great painter. Is it possible that the artist was Russian?
