"Three Beauvaisis Tobacco Pots, 19th Century."
These three tobacco jars are made of Beauvaisis sandstone. The largest is decorated with a kind of monstrance surmounted by a peacock between two cornucopias, framed with flowers, and motifs ending in pine cones. Tin cap screws on top. The second of intermediate size is decorated with various jewels, it also has a pewter stopper. The smallest has three bouquets of flowers all around the belly and alternated with flowers, its pewter cap is screwed. 19th century Beauvais. Dimensions height 16.5 cm, 15.5 cm, 12.5 cm.
