Rapier, 17th century early 18th century, called "PAPPENHEIM". Iron frame with two shells pierced symmetrically in a circle. Simple joining arc with 1 quillon at the end and 2 quillons overflowing from the shells, folded towards the blade. Filigree spindle and inner quillon forming "PAS D'ANE". see the pictures. Flattened mushroom pommel with rivet knob. Blade of triangular section with hollow sides and median edge bearing illegible marking and pattern.
