"Louis XVI Style Mahogany Console"
Small mahogany and mahogany veneer console, the belt opens with a drawer with lock and key in working condition, The sides are curved, the front uprights are rounded and adorned with scrapers. The white marble top is surrounded by an openwork gallery of hearts. The drawer and sides are decorated with brass rods. The four fluted legs are joined by a crotch shelf lined with an openwork gallery as well. The feet end in a bronze sabot. Space between shelf and drawer: 41 cm. Note some stains on the marble, an old restoration in a corner, visible in the photographs.
